Out waitress, Roxie, recommended the Mr G's pizza when we started asking questions about vege pizza. It's a bacon, tomato, mushroom, onion, and eggplant pizza. Some parmigiana on top, but we added mozzarella. This was the best pizza we've had beach-side. And it's definitely a family owned and operated business. I like that. Father, son, daughter-in-law. Been here since the '90's. We will return and work our way through their menu.

Before you read this post please note I gave this establishment a 1 for the way we were treated by the waitress. We came over to the east coast for a couple of nights to enjoy the beach and good company. It was just my son and I this time, DMD had to work. We decided to try this place because there was something on the menu for everybody, but sarcasm was not a dish! We were greeted by a sign that read "seat yourself" when walked in. There was 6 of us but there was not a 6 top available so we were going to put the 4 kids at one table and the 2 adults at another. The kids range from10-15. The comment made by the waitress was "oh no. I do not get paid enough to babysit!" That comment set the tone for the rest of the evening. I will not patronize this establishment again and I hope all Yelpers will take heed to my warning. This is a vacation spot and tourists keep small businesses afloat. Appreciate the business don't chase us away!!!!

This is a Cosy little mom and pop restaurant. Excellent food and super friendly service. I've been coming here since I was a baby and loving it! The Chicken Parmesana Sub has always been my personal favorite. The soups are all freshly made in house- and can't be beat! My crunchy salad was topped with herbs and the tasty house dressing. Overall this is a fabulous restaurant that I have had the pleasure of enjoying for many years.

Went here while on vacation. It's good food at reasonable prices and large portions. I had Alfredo that was the best I've had at a restaurant. Daughter had pizza that was great thin crust, hubby had another pasta that was good and son ate chicken fingers. If I lived there I would probably be a regular customer except that I would get it to go. The waitress, who seems very happy to be a part of an Italian family, just rubbed me the wrong way. Slightly condescending and does nothing but jibber jabber about her husband and real Italian father-in-law. Seemed to make a point to put down other restaurants. Granted the food earns bragging rights but the negative and haute attitude coupled with the incessant talk of the "real" Italian men in the family would keep me from coming as much as I'd like. You can't go wrong with the food though. Just try not to engage in conversation.

Great little pizza eatery. Great portions and a great laid back casual atmosphere. Had the Mr G's (highly recommended) service was good Roxy is awesome. I personally loved the old Italian/Sicilian feel of the place. We will be coming back.

I think if Gordon Ramsey was doing Kitchen Nightmares still THIS would be a great place for him to visit. I always have taken issue when the owner (in this case the owners wife) raves and brags about how good their food is and no other restaurant beats their food or pizza and people don't know what good pizza is, etc. Well, if your food and pizza was THAT good we wouldn't have been the only people left in the restaurant after 8 pm on a Saturday night. Now I will give them credit because the pizza was good. Was it the best? Not by far. I have had much better and right down the street from them which is where I will return to. I complimented them by saying I saw they had good ratings on Yelp which is why we decided to give them a try, only for the girl to start completely bashing Yelp and how they only use Trip Advisory. (Yes she actually said Advisory many times). If I'm complimenting you by your reviews and you completely turn it around and say derogatory things, ehhhh, you lost me right there. I also take issue then the only reviews (on TA) happen to be left by people who only have 1 review ever. If it smells like fish, it probably is. Maybe next time just shut up and serve the customers and you might make a repeat customer. 3 Stars for the food 1 Star for the service

Small Family restaurant. Food is good. Prices are cheep compared to other local choices. They remember you, and sincerely appreciate every customer that walks threw the door. Roxy was an excellent waitress. We had a mix seafood pasta dish and a pizza both were excellent.

Great family owned restaurant with great service! We are semi-regulars. Roxy always makes us feel welcome. Their food is good and not badly priced either. When my boyfriend and I go out to eat here... depending on what we get.. we usually end up spending between $17-$22. It costs us the same at a fast food restaurant! So we choose good food over fast food!

Had the strangest service (or lack of) by server, Roxy. So 4 adults ordered diet cokes and 3 of us did not like the taste of the soda after an inital sip. So we had sever take back 3 of sodas (I personally tolerated the taste). When the bill came we were charged for 4 sodas. We pointed out the mistake and our server Roxy said that it wasn't a mistake. She said it's not the restaurants fault we didn't Iike the taste of the soda so even though we didn't drink it and we had ordered a bottled water and and an ice tea in replacement of the soda (for which we were additionally charged for) we still had to pay for the soda we immediately sent back. It wasn't the restaurants fault that we didn't like it. Whoa, really? I asked her a hypothetical question about what is their policy if we had ordered food that we didn't like after taking one bite and she said that we would have to pay for it because...yes again she said it's wasn't the restaurants fault we hadn't liked the food. Wow has this person ever, ever eaten a restaurant. Of course she was saying this in a voice that could be heard by a party of 11 that was sitting adjacent to us who sat with their mouths agape in disbelief. She continued to reinforce that the restaurant did nothing wrong and they shouldn't have to remove the sodas from the bill. I said fine, and that we will never be back and that I have 11 witnesses who would disagree on their No-fault policy. but Roxy wouldn't drop it, finally my friend had to tell her to please drop it. We paid the bill and left a 7% tip and left. I did stop by the adjacent table and they said they couldn't believe what they heard. So I suspect over 2 sodas that cost $1.85 the restaurant lost 18 customers. No wonder the place was so dead when we got there. BTW the only reason we went their was because Coasters Pub had a 1.5 hour wait.

Our favourite pizzeria in beachside. Very friendly service and well priced Meals of substantial portions. I am a sucker for a good Stromboli and in all my travels have not found a better one. My wife particularly enjoys the mussels. If you want wine the choice is very limited as is the choice of beer outside the usual Anheimer-busch selections. Steer clear of the 'fruit' beer.......nasty. Go for the food and not the drink and you will be in for a good time. If you need a beer there is a really good pub/bar 200 yards away. Will return on our next return to The Space Coast.

This food was amazing! I ordered the Veal Piccata and it was very tasty. The side of spaghetti made me wish I had ordered just spaghetti and meatballs. I did ask for one meatball and they gave me two huge ones that were as good as my moms. I will definitely go back there next time I am in town.

One of the better Beachside Pizza Options I have lived in the Satellite / Indian Harbour Beach area for ten years and I just never noticed Valentino's. It is located in the plaza on the corner of A1A and Eau Gallie that has a Walmart and a Winn- Dixie. What can I say their signage is not great and perhaps they should take down one of the four dated neon beer signs behind the glass front of their restaurant. I get that you sell beer but unless you are related to Anheuser or Busch do you really need signs for Bud, Bud Light, and Michelob??. I tried Valentinos after reading several very favorable Yelp reviews. I am a self proclaimed pizza snob, who has savored the pizza in Naples Italy, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. I generally have found most Space Coast pizza mediocre with the notable exceptions of DeAngelos By the Sea (in South Melbourne Beach) and Fired Up Coal Oven Pizza in Palm Bay both of which are very far from my home and office. Those two pizza places, for Florida, are awesome. Venentinos is not awesome but it is very good and is as good or better than the other options in Indian Harbour and Satellite Beach. I like that Valentinos uses fresh mushrooms that are solely missing at many lazy beachside pizza shops that use canned mushrooms. The crust was crisp. The sauce really good and thankfully not sweet. Valentinos is vastly superior to Pistillis and Cibellis. As compared to take only and PIGS (Pizza In Gas Station) beachside options, I think Tony's pizza is inconsistent very good one day and average the next. If I was to compare Valentinos to Puzinos, I would call it a toss up, but are very good but neither is exceptional. I have not tried the pasta options at Valentinos. My 16 inch "extra-large" half mushroom - haft cheese came in around $14.00. Valentions location and signage make it easy to overlook which is a shame as it is among the best of limited beachside pizza options.

Wow, this was some great Italian food! We ordered pasta and chicken, each of which came with nice salads and the best home baked bread I've had in years! This place even accommodates special requests. So glad I found it!

Ordered pizza and salad fire lunch. Very good quality and price. Extra large pizza is NY size, but we ordered the large and it was perfect for two. Highly recommended. Service was very good.

Their chicken wings may be the best that I've had! There crispy and the sauce is homemade.... Plus, Mr.G's pizza was amazing! Mr.G personally took the time to talk to us. His family is from Italy and everything is authentic. We went a second time and it was just as good as the first. Be sure to add this to your list!

Stumbled onto this place close to our hotel . In the mood for pizza and Valentino's did not disappoint - pizza was awesome one of the best we ever had. Great antipasto salad as well. Family owned for 20 years-understandable why they have been here for so long.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
